Excellent review. We agree about the weird exterior door handles. We've owned a Y for one year and 18k miles. We charge in our driveway. Our state (Connecticut) will reimburse for a charger and its installation. Only things we don't like are the sunroof and lack of grab bars above the doors to help get in and out. For $100 we installed a Vion sunshade. Also the low profile tires are prone to sidewall slashing by curb stones. But, it's the best car we've had, we're both 76. Also agree that the practical range is less than Tesla claims .

What a surprise, apps that are developed and updated for 2024 phones are draining the battery for a phone that was intended and excelling in 2021… who would’ve thought? The s21 ultra is still decent

I sent mine back for a refund, the clock on the lock screen and the notification shade is unusable because oneplus made a stupid decision to make the hour digits deep red when they are '1'. Everyone is complaining about it, I went though the OnePlus support channels and this was the reply I received: `I would like to kindly inform you that the red number 1 is a tribute to our brand, it's part of OnePlus logo. It always been red for number one in OnePlus clocks. Therefore, you can rest assured the clock is not broken. This is a default feature and it cannot be changed.` My current phone is a OnePlus 3T, and it does not have an unreadable red clock. Why no-one mentions this in reviews is beyond me as being able to quickly tell the time is basic functionality. Community posted workarounds do not work. I'm not rooting my phone and breaking my banking apps and google pay to try and fix it myself.

IP 65 means it is good against Dust and Sand and against Water, you should not put it under Water but u can easy clean it in your sink.

What a biased review. If you love small screen phone, pixel 8A is for you. Otherwise A35 is the better choice. AMOLED screen is better than OLED. I dont believe it when you show that A35 pic looks washed out when you actually just make it dimmer so that pixel 8A screen looks 'brighter' and 'punchier'. A35 bezels are definitely better than 8A, as for camera I have not much argument there. What about the build quality? Gorilla glass 3 on pixel 8A vs victus+? While pixel 8A does have aluminum frame, the back is plastic vs plastic frame but back glass on A35. Glass back makes it look more premium really. Design wise it is A35 all the way because it is just simple and beautiful. Pixel 8A is just servicable. As for software, many people love basic and pure android design, but Samsung has gone a long way to polish the user experience of one UI. The latest one UI 6.1 on galaxy A35 has many features added on top of base android that is very useful such as edge panel, easy reachability to operate with one hand, great customizable keyboard that can give the closest feel to iphone 15 pro max's keyboard at a budget (if you make it that way), secure folder (which is very important if you have your bank apps in your phone) and many more. I know A35 misses all AI features unlike pixel 8A, but it's not like you cannot install chatgpt or google lens on A35, you dont miss that much on AI with those apps actually. Oh, and A35 is $100 cheaper. So, in my conclusion, A35 is the clear winner choice, unless you really need AI baked in your phone and can deal with smallish screen.

That cheap $25 case shows your battery right up next to the screens. That’s an expensive repair. The Kiwi Designs protector is $12.99 and will prevent the battery from smashing the AVP lenses.
